Nestled amongst impossibly steep mountains in the cradle of the Kathmandu Valley, Nepal's capital is a mish-mash of wonderfully exotic architecture: Newari houses, Buddhist stupas, Hindu temples and prayer flag strewn parks. Explore the city before heading off to the project to help paint classrooms and facilities, or teach and play with the children.
After a busy few days, the team head south to Chitwan National Park. There is no better way to explore the park than on an elephant back safari. Look for the one-horned rhino, exotic birds, deer, crocodiles and even the elusive tiger!
